I had an interesting experience the other day. Before school started, I was in the library with my 1st grader. I read him a book. Another child was there and brought me a book to read, too.
It was "Jonah and the Whale". I had my little internal knee-jerk reaction, took a deep breath and read it anyway.
This got me to thinking (always dangerous) and then to asking (even scarier), what *other* religions are covered in this library? And they don't have much. Some stuff for the older kids, but very, very little for the little folks. There are practical reasons for this. I can fix practical reasons. The librarian is willing to work with me, and I'm willing to make donations.
So, my question for y'all is, do you know of any introductory pro-pagan-ish story books for the little kids?
